Suspicious package defused for EU building in Oudergem

A suspicious package was found for a building of the European Commission in Oudergem on Wednesday morning. RTL reports this and the news is confirmed by the local police of the Marlow zone.

The police have set up a security zone around the building on Beaulieulaan and have the area evacuated. The Army’s demining agency, has come to the scene and determined and destroyed the package. According to the police, the safety zone would soon be lifted.
