HEILBRONN – Three employees of a Lidl office in Neckarsulm, South Germany, were injured by an exploding letter bomb. German media report this. All three had to go to hospital.
No official information has yet been released on the severity of the injuries, but no one would be in danger of death.
After the explosion, the building of the German supermarket chain was evacuated. The emergency services went big. About a hundred people working in the LID office. Those involved receive aftercare.
On Tuesday, a package had exploded at a beverage manufacturer in Eppelheim, also in South Germany. Police are investigating whether there is a connection between the two explosions.
